Waverley Plastic Surgery News Melbourne toddler's toes turned into fingers. A team of surgeons that included Guy Dowling and David Ying performed a marathon operation to remove the second toe from each of her feet and transplant them on to her hand to create “tingers”, eventually giving her an opposable thumb and pinkie.
Mr Guy Dowling and Mr David Ying are specialist plastic surgeons working in both public and private hospitals in the south east of Melbourne. They are both Fellows of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and members of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. Guy Dowling is also a member of the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. As a fully qualified Surgeons, Guy Dowling and David Ying perform both reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery procedures.
