Breast Reconstruction

A breast reconstruction is performed following the removal of a breast for cancer. It may be performed at the time of the surgery to remove the breast or at a later date.

A breast reconstruction may involve the use of silicone implants or may be done using some tissue from elsewhere on your body (usually the stomach). Our surgeons, Mr Guy Dowling or Mr David Ying can advise which procedure would be the most appropriate for you.
